School Supplies

As we prepare for our Back 2 School Bash in August. We will be collecting new school supplies starting throughout July. We are asking everyone to participate and contribute whatever you can. Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of many students. You can drop your new items at the office Monday – Friday and on Sunday mornings at the information counter. You can also shop directly from the Amazon School Supply Drive list. These items will be sent directly to New Light. Back 2 School Bash Stylist and Barbers Needed

New Light Church is looking to partner with local stylists to obtain free hairstyles to go back to school. To better serve the community, we would like to have the students serviced on location at a physical salon.

Here is how it will work… you would designate a day and time to offer a specified number of students with a donated first day of school hair style. Based on the pre-determined number of hairstyles that your team can provide (free of charge), we would give students from the communities of North and South Houston a voucher to present at the time of service. Does this community outreach effort sound like something your team would be interested in?
